Was this review helpful?(0) (0) Pros. I had an old ms sidewinder joystick from 2. I up graded to win xp but it would not work on xp. I downloaded the 3. So I put my flight simulator in and started it at the top of the screen I went to options scrolled down to controls just to find that the controler had been disabled, when I enabled it the old joy stick worked just like new... I hope this helps someone.....

Download worked fine - but would not install on VISTACons. I found an old Sidewinder (without the driver disk) at the thrift store and attempted to install it on a P- 4 machine using an old- fashioned (pre- USB) . But I got the message: . It`s game port version. It`s officially supposed to work with Win 2. Force feedback doesn`t work, u can`t test it, adjust it, nothing at all. Well you could, if you were able to install this stupid piece of software.

But of course you can`t. There is a 4. 0 version for Win 2. ONLY FOR USB connection!!!
